About the Position

Ensure all presentation material that is delivered by the Africa Group Strategy function is consistent, professional and in line with corporate identity.

Accountability: Project Management- Strategy Production and Communication Specialist

  • Co-ordinate communication of business strategy to business.
  • Co-ordinate pitchbook generation e.g. Formatting existing and new pitchbooks, track timelines, assisting with maintenance of formatting of pitchbooks.
  • Template maintenance – Updating and maintaining firm templates in word & Power Point

  • Develop and format all multimedia announcements.

Accountability: Develop and format all presentation material

  • Develop and format all multimedia announcements, provide a consistent look and feel throughout the presentation, guidance on layout and design and producing new slides.
  • Assist senior leadership in creating visually engaging presentations that advocate a professional image for the firm. Including one-on-one, Group sessions, Ad-hoc telephonic or one-on-one assistance and guidance.
  • Ensure that the Production Department runs efficiently, in that, production backup is in place, production transparency – through calendar and process, Maintain and build supplier relationships, maintain libraries of all approved templates, letterheads and formats – this includes images, fonts

Accountability: Internal Electronic Messaging

  • Prepare high quality and clear communication material to be used for the intranet and other internal communication media, if required by the Strategy function

Accountability: Data storage

  • Create and maintain a knowledge management platform for the Strategy department to ensure that reference material is readily available on all projects and ExCo packs and ensure continuity for new joiners
  • Maintain, update and enhance SharePoint functionality for all external research by the function
  • Create and maintain reliable historical data (libraries) of all templates, letterheads and formats, including images and fonts.
  • Be a custodian of the written communication governance across the firm and ensuring that all set standards are maintained without compromise.
  • Maintaining database of awards and tombstones.

Education and Experience Required

  • Suitable tertiary qualification
  • 5 years’ experience in a Corporate environment using PowerPoint & Word at an advanced level
  • Advanced PowerPoint & Word certifications are a minimum requirement
  • Photoshop experience
  • Graphic design experience
  • SharePoint experience
